SOCIALVILLE-FOSTER
EASEMENT CLEANUP I. The purpose of
the easement cleanup was to address various areas of concern, in the part Due
to inheriting easement property the developer never really finished.
This cleanup was in Cooperation
with the Warren County Highway Department who provided labor at no Cost
to the association. A.
The areas of concern were:
1. Remove all trash, debris,
grass clippings, and dirt from the drainage swale and from
under all undergrowth.
2. Remove old wire fence,
two dead trees, trim various other trees, and remove all wild
honeysuckle and undergrowth.
3. Regrade and seed the
easement – This would allow for better drainage of water
run-off and a more appealing look for the subdivision. II. The project has taken
one year to complete and was finished late last spring.
A.
This is due to a misunderstanding between the homeowners who border this
easement and the
Association’s intent and scope of the project. B.
The delay was also extended due to the counties schedule and having the
easement dry for
Grading. III. What we have now is the agreed
upon finished project between the homeowners and association. A.
All except for the area behind 8246 Indian Summer Way.
This area was removed by the
County after homeowner requested that area not be removed.
1. The homeowner asked the
association and county to replace all growth that was
removed.
2. The association denied
the request. IV. Currently
we have the proper drainage to the storm drain located on the easement. A.
At present this storm drain is 50% blocked with limbs and debris from the
surrounding
Undergrowth near the storm drain.
1. We have contacted Dusty
Rhoades of the Warren County Highway Dept to “ONLY”
clean out the storm drain and surrounding area of the storm drain of
limbs and debris. B.
GroundMasters has stated it is easer to mow and maintain. C.
There is still lots of trash and debris under the wild honeysuckle. D.
We would like to ask that homeowners please reframe from putting grass
clippings or
Stacking firewood in this easement. E.
The future of Socialville-Foster Road is to widen it in the next five to
ten years. The county
Has stated that it will most likely remove all trees and vegetation that
lie in the easement at
That time.
